Summer

Well this summer has been so crazy and busy I almost want to say I'm ready for Fall. But I won't speak those words yet, cause I'm still enjoying the hot weather:)

To start off we had an amazing week at Shasta Lake, CA with the Nuffer side of the family. At first Liz was really worried about how stressful it was going to be with Declan only being 8 weeks old. But to her surprise it wasn't at all. We enjoyed swimming with Quentin and Henrik who both can swim on their own now(Henrik still needs a little bit of help). They loved the big water guns Uncle Aaron and his family brought. Of course Grandma Nuffers BIG tortilla shell floaty was fun as always too. The boys loved riding in the boat, but not the tubes. Quentin came out once with Liz but after a few minutes he was done. Both boys jumped in the lake, which I thought was great! We had good food, good conversation and lots of Ice cream treats:) Shasta is always so much fun and something to look forward to next year:)

We blessed Declan on July 3rd 2011 and had everyone over afterwards for lunch. We were so happy that most everyone could come and enjoyed their company. We missed those who couldn't make it, but knew they wished they were there.

Dave has been working lots this summer doing DJ jobs, which has been a BIG help. We hate that he's gone a lot, but love him so much for all his hard work:)

We went boating in Yuba Lake, Ut with the Knight Family. It was great on their tube that looked like a couch! Liz got flung off the tube and hurt her neck pretty good, but it slowly gets better each day.

Well we were planning to make a trip up to Oregon this summer, but it looks like we won't:( We miss our home away from home and really wish we could visit family, and friends. But we hope to make for the holidays.
